The Northeast’s premier renewable energy and arts festival — a three-day, family-friendly festival that combines world-class entertainment with not-to-be-missed workshops in renewable energy, sustainability and community engagement.

SolarFest blends art, education, and outreach to inspire conservation, promote renewable energy, and support sustainable communities.

We raise more than a few eyebrows when we explain how our entire weekend festival, including the sound and lights on our main stage, runs on renewable energy, primarily solar with a bit of wind in the mix.

We combine superb family entertainment with presentations by some of the region’s most knowledgeable Renewable Energy experts. We thicken the mix with how-to and hands-on workshops on green building, sustainable agriculture and thriving locally. We even offer a track of workshops designed especially for young people, entitled The Solar Generation. We offer a special children’s activity area (Kids Korner), and a wide variety of food, craft, renewable energy and sustainable living vendors.

Our featured performers represent a far-ranging spectrum of styles and traditions from around the world. We provide plenty of space throughout the weekend for serendipitous encounters, conversation, dancing, hiking, camping, relaxation, and an overall celebration of our planet’s beauty.

Gates open on Friday at Noon, Saturday and Sunday at 8am. Gates close at 8pm on Friday and Saturday. The show ends at 10pm on Friday, 11pm on Saturday and 7pm on Sunday.
