This beloved story by Hans Christian Anderson is about a misfit 'duckling,' who after being picked on by his siblings for his size and awkwardness goes out into the wide world in search of acceptance. Using puppetry and creative visual sets, Vermont's PuppeTree offers a re-telling of this classic fairytale.  This adaptation, created through a partnership with the Vermont Institute of Natural Sciences,  integrates science, the ecology of birds and their relationship to the audience, and performing arts. Unique handmade puppets and humor combine for a show that appeals to children of ages four and up, and their grown-ups, too.
