Join volunteers Brian Bishoff and Denny Wheeler, consulting forester (and the trail blazer) Swift Corwin, and Emily Hague from the Monadnock Conservancy for a moderately strenuous two mile, three hour trek featuring “lovely dark and deep” woods, two pretty ponds and some interesting stone work. Outing departs at 12:30 pm, from the Fitzwilliam Recreation Area parking lot on Rhododendron Road, just off Route 119, about 1 ½ miles past the Rhododendron State Park. Cosponsored with the Monadnock Conservancy.

Join in the fun of sampling the entries of 30 professional and amateur chefs competing for the title of Best Chili or Best Chowder in the Souhegan Region. A Sampling Garden will be available for tasting micro and craft beers and local wines.
