Westward Ho-Exploring the Wilds of Lake Warren

Time: 1:00 PM-3:00 PM
Place: Warren Lake, Alstead, NH (about 15 miles from Keene)

Ages: For those who ski

Join for a cross country ski across the lake, visiting several new conservation easements held by the Monadnock Conservancy. We'll start at the church on North Road, ski down to the lakefront, then across the lake to two easements on the southern shore. On our return, we'll stop on Curll Island for hot chocolate and a bonfire before skiing back to our cars. To join this moderately easy ski party, meet leaders Emily Hague and Sandy Brewer at 1 pm, at the church on North Road in East Alstead to carpool. Back about 3 pm. Cosponsored with the Monadnock Conservancy.
