Friends of Nature Potluck

Time: 6:00 PM-8:00 PM
Place: Bonnyvale Environmental Education Center,  Brattleboro, VT (about 18 miles from Keene)
Price: Free
Ages: All

Gather round the tables in Bonnyvale Environmental Education Center (BEEC’s) rustic barn to enjoy the comaraderie of fellow revelers in nature. The BEEC staff will provide a big pot of something warm and vegetarian, as well as beverages. You may bring your favorite libation and something edible to share.

For this first-in-a-series gathering, you are encouraged (but in no way obliged) to bring an item or two from your own natural history collection—something that you would like to know more about or something that you think will surprise or stymie the group: twigs, bones, photographs, imitations of unidentified sounds, a strange story. . . Between our combined knowledge, experience, field guides, and high-speed internet, we will try to unravel the unknown.

RSVP at 257-5785, or e-mail beec@sover.net.
