We welcome new and experienced dancers and dancers of all ages. No experience is necessary, all dances are taught and called, and you don’t need to come with a partner. We hope to see you there!
The dance takes place in the Stone Church at the corner of Main and Grove Streets, just north of the post office in downtown Brattleboro, VT. The Stone Church features a lovely wooden dance floor and excellent acoustics in a convenient location.
The dance starts at 7:15 with a workshop for beginners, and continues with dancing for all from 7:30 to 10:30 PM. Admission is $10 ($7 students/seniors/low income). Beginners are welcome; all the dances will be taught. You don’t need to come with a partner; other friendly dancers will dance with you.
We welcome musicians to hang out and play tunes together at a slow, informal jam session before every dance. All instruments and skill levels are welcome starting at 5:30 PM and going until around 6:30. http://www.brattcontra.org
