In celebration of this most eeeeerie time of year . . . Voyagers is proud to present our usually annual Halloween dance! Come in costume or come as yourself ... bring your pet ghosts and your living friends.
Two forms, the Voyagers Waiver and the Code of Conduct, are required in order to attend teen dances at Voyagers. We renew these forms every September. If you have not yet submitted forms for the 2012-2013 year, you need to do so if you come to this dance. Links to both forms are at the bottom of this message.
Ticket prices will be $5 for Voyagers members, $8 for non-Voyagers members, and pizza is $1.50 a slice. Snacks and soda are included in the ticket price.
If you have a song request, please e-mail the title and artist to secondhalfoftherainbow@gmail.com by 10/18. At least one request from anyone who sends one will be put in the playlist, any extras will either be used or deferred to future playlists. We will (almost) certainly be taking requests at the dance; just talk to Ket Waters and she'll get your song in the playlist.
We are also taking general recommendations of music people would like to hear at the dances. Please e-mail any ideas or suggestions to secondhalfoftherainbow@gmail.com. While we make no guarantees that we can play the recommendations right away, we like having the chance to expand our music library.
These events are targeted for participants ages 13-19. Please note that because this event is geared toward high-school-age youth some of the activities may not be suitable for younger kids.
