Terrific Tuesdays: Booknic
This afternoon, we are celebrating books and picnics. We'll start
with a great picnic read-aloud. This will be followed with a sampling
from other recommended titles. Then it's your time to recommend a
book. Come prepared to share a favorite title, Finally, we'll play
some book related games.
Terrific Tuesdays takes place each Tuesday at 1:00 p.m. during our
summer reading program. Each week there is a different special event
designed for kids that are approximately aged five and up. Well-behaved
younger children are welcome to attend with an adult.

a special Parent/Child story program for young children through age 3
1/2. Siblings are welcome.

Wrinkle In Time
It was a dark and stormy night ....
So begins the classic story, A Wrinkle in Time, one of the most
significant novels of our time. The book was written in 1962. Many
extraordinary things have changed since then, but the book remains a
favorite.
This summer make time to relive Madeleine L'Engle's Newbery-winning
timeless classic by attending this weekly read-aloud session. You don't
have to come to each session because what happened the week before will
be summarized each week.
