Creation of the Reservoir With J.R. Greene

Fish Ladder Walk and Talk

Ever wondered how fish can climb a ladder? Find out what it takes to get fish up a river with a dam in the way at this Fish Ladder Walk and Talk.

Matthew Cole is a Community Relations Advisor with TransCanada, the owner and operator of the Bellows Falls fish ladder and the hydroelectric facility. He has worked at the U.S. East Region Power facilities since 1981 and has lived in the Deerfield River valley all his life. He is an expert on the hydroelectric facility and the fish ladder. Participants will have ample time for questions.

The Bellows Falls Fish Ladder Visitor Center is run by The Nature Museum at Grafton, thanks to a grant from TransCanada Corporation. For more information about the Fish Ladder, visit www.nature-museum.org/Fish-Ladder.html
Participants will meet at the Bellows Falls Fish Ladder Visitor Center on Bridge Street in Bellows Falls, next to the post office. This event is free and open to the public. Refreshments will be served.

My name is Amy and I am a fiction writer who seeks to build a strong coalition of young talent in Franklin County.
Join me in the meeting room at Greenfield Public Library for a series of FREE creative writing workshops, every Tuesday from 3 to 5 p.m. May 22nd through July 31st.
Come! Share your talent and be prepared to receive encouragement and feedback from your peers in a laid back, non-judgmental atmosphere.
Grab the opportunity to later have your work published in the group anthology if you desire.
Participate in a performance of your work, if you choose, on August 7th.
Make new friends who also share your passion for writing.
