Book Arts: Hand Sewn Bindings

Learn to bookmmaking with a book artist Sheila Williams. This three part series will cover hand sewn bindings. Participants will need to attend each workshop held Tuesday afternnons Feb. 14, March 13, April April 10. These are free and all materials will be provided.
The class size is limited. Advance registration is required. When registering, please provide an email address or phone number, so that we can contact you before the class begins.

Flamenco at Luna Azul

Out and About: When Less is More

Children explore that we all share the Earth's resources and that we need to be careful not to use them up. Activities include creating a sculpture with found objects and playing a "recycle race" to illustrate ways that we can share. Families are invited to bring a gently-used toy to donate to a local charity. Member child free, nonmembers $5, caregivers free. Advance registration required. Meets at The Fells Gatehouse. Valentine's Day Party

Time: 1:00 PM-3:00 PM
Place: Townsend Library, 12 Dudley Rd., Townsend, MA

Ages: 5-10

Join us for a Valentine exchange and party to celebrate the love of friendship! If you aren't friends with us yet, this is a great time to make some new friends also! All participating children will bring a Valentine for the other children (a name list will be provided) and we ask that each child's family provide something from the party list such as a treat, a goodie, a game, etc. (TBA)
If there is any time left over, we will be having free play. A parent or caregiver is required to stay with children. If younger sibilings will be joining us,
please remember to bring along a few activities
they can do as well. Leave me a comment below

Yoga Class

Time: 4:30 PM-5:45 PM
Place: Franklin Pierce University, Community Room, Rindge, NH (about 20 miles from Keene)
Price: $5 per class
Ages: Older kids


Be good and treat yourself to a yoga class. Enjoy the sheer joy of complete relaxation, increase your flexibility and relieve stress.

First session of five weeks of classes will begin on Tuesday, Feb. 14th from 4:30 -5:45 and all Tuesdays thereafter in Cheshire Community room.

Junior Book Club

Free CPR Training

Time: 1:00 PM and at 2:00 PM

On Tuesday, February 14th at 1 and at 2 PM, there will free one-hour training classes for small groups of lay rescuers' skills in CPR, AED, and relief of choking in adults, children and infants. 


The class is designed to benefit athletes, members of volunteer organizations, members of workplace wellness programs, and members of the general public. The class sizes are limited to 10 participants, and will offer 20 to 30 minutes of course instruction followed by 20 to 30 minutes of practical instruction. 


Each participant will receive a Certificate of Participation and a Family and Friends CPR Student Manual.
