Teen, Trivia, and Treats

Teens are invited to join old and new friends at the library for trivia and treats. all of the suspense! All of the pointless trivia! And none of the money! This activity will occur regularly on the 1st and the third Mondays each month.

The Basics: Memory Loss, Dementia, & Alzheimer's Disease

Presented by Maggie Lewis, MPA, LNHA, Director, Programs & Services Alzheimer’s Association/VT Chapter.

Alzheimer’s disease is not a normal part of aging. It is a progressive and fatal brain disease that is the most common form of dementia. Presented by the Alzheimer’s Association, this workshop is for anyone who would like to know more about Alzheimer’s disease and related dementias. The workshop’s topics include but are not limited to symptoms and effects of Alzheimer’s disease, how it affects the brain, causes and risk factors, stages of the disease, and treatment. November is National Alzheimer’s Disease Awareness Month.
