Thursday, June 21 at 6:30 the Magic Wings Butterfly Conservatory &
Gardens will bring a special show to Jaffrey – a cage of 30 exotic
butterflies along with lizards and exotic insects, and the chance to
learn about butterflies and their life cycle. Planned with families in
mind, this event is sponsored by the Friends of the Jaffrey Library and
the Library Trustees. Thanks to the generosity of the Jaffrey Woman’s
Club, it will be held in the spacious Cutler Memorial building across
from the Library. “The Magic of Butterflies” is free and open to the
public.
Located
in Deerfield, Massachusetts, the Magic Wings Butterfly Conservatory
& Gardens features 8,000-square foot tropical conservatory that's
home to nearly 4,000 exotic and domestic butterflies. In warm weather,
the Iron Butterfly Outdoor Gardens are filled with nectar gardens which

The children's theater group of UNH, the Little Red Wagon, will be presenting "The Frog Prince" for the Jaffrey Public Library's summer reading kickoff. The program will take place at the Jaffrey Civic Center on Thursday, June 21st, at 2:00 pm. Lively music and plenty of comedy will make the show tons of fun. Based ever so slightly on the story by the Brothers Grimm, it's perfect for all ages. No registration is required, just come and find out how one good-natured frog breaks an evil spell.
