Jim Barnes always has a song to sing and a story to tell. Whether he's writing tunes about our gallant men and women in uniform or taking a humorous look at everyday living, Jim always brings charm, wit and energy to every performance. His performances have lit up stages across New England for over 30 years from playing at the Big E in Springfield to many New Hampshire Old Home Days as well as private parties and pubs.
As a guitarist and Irish singer, Jim is a versatile entertainer and is prolific on both six- and twelve-string acoustic guitars and plays banjo and mandolin as well. And with his clean, clever humor being a big part of what he does, Jim always puts on a show that everyone in the family can enjoy.
