Christmas Day Dinner

There will be a free Christmas day dinner at 2:00 of ham, turkey, potatoes, veggies, and all the fixings at the First Congregational Church, on the common, in Walpole, NH. This dinner is for anyone (single, couple, family) that maybe not have a place to go or may be alone on Christmas day. Come join the celebration as one big family with many goodies added on. RSVP is necessary as there will only be 100 meals served. Please call Maureen at 603-357-2202 for reservations.

Christmas Night Dance

Place: Nelson Town Hall, Nelson, NH (about 11 miles from Keene)
Price: Free
Ages: All

It’s the 11th annual Christmas Night dance at the Nelson Town Hall. Amy Cann and Bob McQuillen will provide tunes with the normal Nelson variety of callers. Festivities begin at 8:00 pm. There will be a dessert potluck afterwards so bring treats. Admission is free — the Monadnock Folklore Society sponsors this dance as a gift to the community.
