Reedy Point

Written and directed by senior Grace Leathrum, Reedy Point is a fantastical and surreal journey following Charlotte as she quests through the land of the dead in search of her mother. Full of intense visuals, multimedia displays and creative sets and costumes, the play is about family, loss and remembrance. Suitable for all audiences. 

Super Bike and Fun Day

Time: 10:30 am-12:00 pm
Place: Living Memorial Park, Brattleboro, VT (about 18 miles from Keene)

Children bring their bikes for a fun morning of bike activities including a Bike Rodeo. Children must have a helmet to participate. The Brattleboro Police will provide safety information. The first one hundred children will receive a free bike helmet courtesy of the Kiwanis Club. More information: 254-5808.

This event is FREE and is part of the Month of the Young Child, which is sponsored by Windham Child Care Association, the Early Educators Network of Southeastern Vermont and Building Bright Futures of Southeastern Vermont.

Yellow Barn Presents "The Beethoven's Sonatas for Cello and Piano"

Beethoven’s five Sonatas for Cello and Piano form the cornerstone of repertoire for that instrumental partnership. Beethoven revolutionizes the nature of that relationship, creating works that for the first time treat cello and piano as equal partners. Cellist Alice Yoo and pianist Roman Rabinovich explore these great works during their two weeks in residence, presenting them in concert alongside Beethoven’s three sets of variations for the same combination.

Ymca Kids Night Out

Kids Night Out is a fun evening of activities for those in K-5th grade. Join us for swimming, gym games, activities and pizza supervised by our qualified School's Out staff. Registration begins at 6:15pm in the Y Gym and pick up is by 8:30pm (late fees will be assessed). Youth must be signed in by an adult. Sneakers and swim suits/towels are required for gym games and pool use.

Jus Post Bellum is an indie/folk band from Brooklyn, New York. Started in the fall of 2010, they began playing in and around New York City that winter, and over the course of the following year have steadily gained momentum. This fall they were featured in a showcase for the CMJ music festival and now have our eyes on SXSW in the spring of 2012..This winter we will be recording their first full length album in the bucolic countryside of Minnesota.
