Wild Land: Thomas Cole and the Birth of American Landscape Painting

Take a look into how early artists paved the way for the modern landscape paintings of the present day. Using a combination of large-scale banner graphics, immersive environments, media features, and other interactive strategies, "Wild Land" reveals the way in which Cole, and other artists of his time, pioneered cultural conversations that shaped our perception of the American landscape. Twilight on the Tavern Lawn Free Concert Series

The tenth annual Twilight On The Tavern Lawn series of folk, world beat, rock, jazz, zydeco, Celtic, swing, blues and bluegrass summer concerts!

All concerts begin at 6:30 pm in downtown Putney on the Putney Tavern lawn (bring a lawn chair or blanket) or at Next Stage at 15 Kimball Hill in case of rain.
